Need to boost the fuel efficiency on my 69. Has a 350/400 tranny. Are their any parts or equipment I can do to make it more fuel efficient additional than not driving it?

I’m preparation before long on in the possibility to restomod any a 67/68 Camaro or 65/67/68 Mustang,the problem is with all the very nice aftermarket parts to choose from engines,tranny,etc…how would you know what best suites your car & your driving…you sure woudn’t want your cash go to waste especially if your maintenance a forceful fiscal proclamation & value your cash.
What else do I need for my car to run ok?

I’ve been told by countless public that I must slap a turbo on it with a manual boost hegemony and have it at like 4psi…. the car itself runs exelent the only business is that it’s an automatic (will deffinatly chat tranny to stick in the possibility) and the fact that the car has around 200,000miles…. i bought it from my aunt and she babied the car like idiotic so here is no engine hurt what-so-ever…. I would just like to know if I WAS to place a turbo on…. what additional mods or upgrades would I need to place on in order for my car to subdue run ok and not run the opportunity of ruining anything?
