Now reflect of two animals that would be appalling, terrible, foolish metaphors for a hybrid campaign.

I recently just saw the documentary called, “Who killed the Gripping car?”. It discussion about this incredible modest car which is powered by electricity. It’s smaller, closer, and gives off NO detrimental emissions. The car can payment at night, and be well ample to get you owing to the day. It can even be used as a GENERATOR for your household in a potential-outage. Well, guess what? GM buys out all the batteries which are used in these cars, which earnings– No more gripping car.

Now public are worrying about global warming, and being paid HYBRIDS!! Figure that? Even even if, we had a perfectly fine car effective for the enviroment until GM recalled them, hurt them and hurt their batteries. No more gripping cars.

I’ve read about hybrids that batter to gas at 40+ mph and some that only use gas to give a new lease of life the battery. Why don’t they just make an all-gripping car and do away with gas when all's said and done. I’m sure public wouldn’t have distress with the batter, especially in countries that pay $10+ a gallon.
Maybe start a car with two batteries. One can payment off the additional’s energy and then they can batter.

jay o questioned:

I have heard that even if hybrids consume less gasoline, the do take greatly more energy to yield. If they take more energy to yield and that energy comes from coal, then that will also add to the total carbon dioxide released into the ambiance. A;so, what about he bonus parts like the battery, which take a lot of energy to yield and they ar heavy, so they use more energy when they are shipped from the top of prodction to where they are assembled in the car. Finally, what about he gripping motor which is also heavy and are bent from moderately generous amounts of copper, which is non renewable and uses a lot of energy to refine and ship to points of prodction. How come no one takes that into tab when touting the benifits of hybrids? I reflect public are stll fleeting sighted and ignorant when they look at our levels of carbondioxide emissions and our by and large level of consumption.

Windows, air conditioning – who cares?

Here’s the ancient saw that leaving your windows rolled down makes an polished drag on your car, cutting down on fuel efficiency. And here’s the notion that the greatest way to drain your gas tank is by running your air conditioning.

Don’t judge any one.

In two separate studies conducted in 2005, the automotive Web site Edmunds.com and Consumer Intelligence compared the fuel state of both a sedan and an SUV at highway speeds with and without air conditioning and how open windows affected gas treatment.

I read an condition in a community paper about an inventor in Wi that is effective on an gripping vehicle powered by bumps in the road or suspension travel—I infer it’s a logic that uses the up and down budge of the shocks to strengthen a attractive field and generate electricty to payment the batteries. Sounds unadorned and is simliar to regenerative braking in that the energy used to stop a car is place back in to tender the car. Condition is here:

http://www.winonadailynews.com/articles/2007/05/21/news/01lead.txt

In view of the fact that America is the land of inventors, I was wondering if here’s anyone else looking into unfilled ways to potential a car additional than hybrid, diesel, hydrogen, photovoltaic, etc…how creative are public being paid with the price of gas now.
All excellent answers but I’m wondering if a name is effective on the use of habitual car surgical course of action to potential the car—a gas engine is inefficient in view of the fact that it loses so much heat that may maybe be used better to potential the car if it may maybe be captured better. I retract Smokey Yunick–a racer and novelist for Ordinary Knowledge was developing an adiabatic engine http://schou.dk/hvce/ some being back but has voted for on. Sounded like a excellent step towards this goal and maybe must be revitalized. I’m also intrugued by the thought of attractive energy production from oscillating or braking forces of habitual vehicle surgical course of action….if you can translate heat energy from braking and shock absorbers into electricty, I reflect it would be a viable and simple way to gain some bonus mileage at moderately low cost than to convert to another fuel source which must be explored also. Thankfulness for any partaking, Paul

Do you reflect gas is inane up or down.

Here is my thought.

I see more public using their SUV and better trucks lately. If you read about the wits why oil went up so high it is in view of the fact that of all the mishandle of oil.

Larger better closer was what all was tiresome to realize. Glutenous mishandle of a precious store has caused the problem.
Here are some equipment we can do to ring fence the problem.
Use less oil. Here is how.
If your household is heated by oil chat it to natural gas as soon as it is unfilled in your area,

Stop using the handbook thru. Get out and go in and wait in line. Don’t be so bone idle meeting in your car burning a depleting store.

Car pool or use public transportation.

Hold a smaller car. Buy what you need not what you want. Stop following the “trend” of additional public and be an model.

Hold a hybrid car cor commuting if you cant use public transportation.

Even even if the hybrid has a high global trace in view of the fact that of battery waste. They do use less fuel and in the fleeting run they can buy time to make CNG a better selection or hydrogen.

We will always need oil for lubrication, grease, tractors, cranes, fleeting generators, ATV use, and many additional equipment you may reflect of.
what is your thought?

Deep Sky — you’re gone the top. I be with you what you are adage. But, the best way to get them to shut up about global warming is to hit them where it hurts. Make these super-rich, like Laurie David, Sheryl Crow and Al Gore really go green. Don’t allocate them “carbon credits.” That’s bullsh!t. Make them really chat their carbon way to the level of the average self. They are the largest polluters, and a progressive logic would place the largest burdens on them, right? STS1SS questioned:

I be with you the politics, I do. For many of us even if, this is really not about politics. It is about our possibility, your possibility.

We can argue on politics all day long, it doesn’t help anything. We must at smallest amount be able to agree on what “pork” is or is not, but the past few weeks I am questioning that as well.

But I go off on a tangent…

I expected an email with a link to the “projects” in the stimulus bill. Or to be more accurate, the state/community projected projects. Life somewhat able to utilize run of the mill implication effectively, I have been skeptical of this bill for a heap of reasons, not the smallest amount of which is the fact it is tiresome to find anyone who doesn’t have skin in the game in contract this is a excellent thought.

Here’s the link:

http://www.stimuluswatch.org/project/by_state

So I took a look at Kalamazoo, MI…just click on MICHIGAN and then in the cities section click on Kalamazoo. I browsed down the list, noting the jobs each project is projected to start.

I noticed a huge one…1000 jobs! Wow that’s splendid! Clean! Fantastic, that is soooo excellent. And it only expenditure $3 million. What a bargain, what a deal.

Oh, wait a sec…dag nab it, run of the mill implication is putting a damper on this one….it is for the hold of 100 Hybrid vehicles. “So what?”, you question.

Well how is this inane to “start” 1000 jobs, or even save them?

The jobs are already here. This hold represents about 3 hours value of production. Lets say it equals 3 months, just to be incredibly conservative.

Here’s a link that discussion about GM production excise in surplus of 30 vehicles an hour, I know from encounter they can do more, but here it is:

http://www.autoblog.com/2009/02/03/gm-increases-car-production-for-the-jump/

OK.

So what happens with that?

Do you public who reflect this bill really does anything meaningful be with you we do not differ this based on politics? MOST of us also opposed TARP. Below Bush. You can spin it how you like, but we did. This is not about politics for us.
SUBWM4BUSH: I agree, as I have said many era, this is a universal problem, the GOP is absolutely no better on earmarks.

All: Why are you calling public dumb when some of us agree with you to some extent. I agree that the UAW is corrupt.
