Russell B questioned:
My wife has a 45 mile go back and into the planet to her new job, so we were looking to save cash by being paid a hybrid. I’m compelling into account being paid any a Prius or an Insight, but I sought after to hear some opinions. Which do you reflect is a better hybrid vehicle and why?
If someone drives more HWY miles than city miles, is a hybrid car still saving them a ton in gas?

Tinkerbell77 questioned:
My husband is being paid a new job. He now facility 10 summary away from home. We do more city than HWY driving now. But, his new job is 45 summary away on the HWY. We need a new vehicle soon. He wants to get a hybrid car (like the Prius) in view of the fact that he feels that even if they are more pricey than let’s say the Honda Fit that he will save cash in gas so it won’t really be that pricey. I’m thought of the monthly car payments plus monthly gas expenditure of the Prius compared to the Fit (or another Hybrid compared to another fixed car). I hear how splendid the hybrid is on reduction you gas on the city driving, but what about the HWY driving?
As the gentleman below confirmed, will the car stay using electricity while on the HWY/freeway or will it only use gas? If it will only use gas then will the hybrid part (or gripping) even make any difference if we do primarily HWY driving? Also I thought of another question…Are repairs inane to be more? In view of the fact that I need to reflect of that too. If I save cash in gas, but have high car payments, I will subdue need to pay for a repair sometime, most liable before the car is paid off.
