Should I purchase a 2001 Toyota Prius?

I am compelling into account purchasing a 2001 Toyota Prius, automatic, with 113,000 miles on it. The price is inane to be $7,000 not including tax, regime fees, etc. etc.

Kelly Blue Book says the equivalent car is value $9,000.

I’m really wondering how excellent the Hybrids have held up over the being, what I can guess maintenance wise, and if it’s even value export this car. The dealer (who was effective with… well, I guess “top surprise” english) said that they installed a “strain new hybrid” while we were looking below the hood. I can only take upon yourself that earnings they recently replaced the battery which I’ve read in additional places that becomes a problem with 100,000 miles.

Any additional issues I must be aware of? Any suggestions or questions I must question the dealer? I’m certainly inane to get a Carfax report before I hold the car but I’m inane to have to pay for that for For myself and on top of that I’m subdue in the negotiating stages. If all goes well, I’m looking to hold the car tomorrow!

I have test obsessed the car so no issues here. I didn’t feel anything weird but admittedly I wouldn’t above all know what to look for.

Any suggestions?

Why are there no roundabouts in USA and Canada?

Roundabouts as an uncommon to signals are splendid. They are safe (no t-bone collisions), they fall idling time, fall wear and tear of brakes, fall stop and go therefore promoting fuel efficiency etc. You can place a nice signpost in the roundabout and that can make the junction look sweet as opposed to hideous illumination. And they dont need electricity and additional maintenance that signals do. And n.america has lots of interval.. why not then?

i am so much attracted in huge size suv, but why i was diffident about it was in view of the fact that of its inefficient fuel state.. But when I saw the huge SUVs with hybrid, the MPG was reasonably evenhanded..!

But I heard the hybrid is not urge for some reasons,, such as its high price of part batteries,, etc.. and its uncertainty of protection or maintenance in view of the fact that the hybrid is kinda new logic in market.

over the past few months my gas consumption has at a snail's pace dropped from around 30mpg to about 20
just wondering what would be advisable to exchange, try out or sterile. (all has to be diy)
recently have place new plugs in and leads, cleaned out all hoses, new alternator(valve went) and new air filter
all i can reflect of left to do is chat the fuel filter, would an oil chat make a differnce on state?
and would replacing the coil pack help – have no earnings to test accurately.
no faults reported by ecu, tyres always at right pressure and doesnt seem to be any foremost misfires, and pesume the cat is alright as MOT wasn’t so long ago.
any help/in rank would be valued
