wiredamerican questioned:

My car battery is drained. I have no battery charger. I do have a powerwheels charger. The small charger says ‘Productivity 12 volts 1.2amps. If I join these leads to my car battery with the right polarity will it payment it? And if so how long will it take to payment a car battery with it. I have some social rank in vital electronics and I am aware of any dangers that may rise, I am wondering if anyone has tried it and if it facility.

StuBeeDoo questioned:

OK I know this is a dumb question but I am perfectly clueless when it comes to cars!!

My battery is flat – I cannot get it to start with jumps leads so the only selection is to payment it with a battery charger which I have. Now, I cannot take the battery out so is it possible to payment the battery without disconnecting it from the car?

Thankfulness in advance!

Fuel efficiency efforts. Futile?

fuel efficiency

Eric questioned:

As many economists suspected, efficiency rising technological progress tends to boost, very than fall, fuel use.

First, increased fuel efficiency makes the use of fuel moderately cheaper, thus cheering increased use (if cars are more efficient, it will austerely lead to more driving). Second, increased fuel efficiency leads to increased fiscal growth, which pulls up fuel use for the total state.

This shows that at the microeconomic level, improvements in fuel efficiency ordinarily upshot in cut-rate fuel consumption. But, at the macroeconomic level, more efficient (and therefore comparatively cheaper) fuel use leads to closer fiscal growth, that in turn increases fuel use throughout the state. Compelling into tab both the microeconomic and the macroeconomic equipment, technological progress that improves fuel efficiency will tend to boost by and large fuel use.

This upshot is reasonably controversial – it implies that energy conservation is futile.

clarify why improvements in fuel efficiency ordinarily upshot in cut-rate fuel consumption at the microeconomic level.

Can a name pledge the question at the end…

Kaylon S questioned:

I recently bought a 2009 Implant XB, which gets clad gas milage as is. I am wondering if here are any safe and reversable modifications I can do to incream my fuel efficiency. I know that a lot of exhuast systems make celebrated that they boost MPG but I am skeptical of this as I know increased normal often leads to lower MPG.
