Will Legislatures pass legislation this year that will encourage us to buy hybrid cars?

Will it become affordable to hold a plug-in hybrid car owing to sales and income tax rebates and credits? Wouldn’t this be the genteel way to encourage Americans to store up energy and get greener? Wouldn’t this be in our National Wellbeing appeal? Wouldn’t this be a better society?
Most equipment can be recycled. I guess most batteries are also. If we pass legislation that can reduce the shock of the expense to buy these more pricey vehicles, public will start to buy them and the price will come down drastically! I reflect that is what we want!
