Hyundai is preparation to roll down their Opus Hybrid – the “Blue Handbook” into the US probably in the 2010 Q4. When compared to additional Hybrids of this rank, it may be more cost effectual.

Hyundai will have a Honest opportunity to be on the top of the chart in 2010 with the “Blue Handbook”, as the Toyota Prius and the Ford Fusion Hybrids are below the cage of Brake issues, even even if it is life flat by the companies.

Apart from the conventional NiMH batteries for the Hybrid cars these days, the Blue Handbook makes use of the Lithium Polymer Batteries, which are already in use for the Hyundai Hybrid cars in South Korea. The Lithium Polymer batteries are of low cost in production than the Li-ion batteries used in additional Hybrid cars.

Reduction in the production cost eventually reflects on the cars closing price which will make the Hybrid Opus more affordable for the customers in the struggle and it will be another feather on the crown to one of the chief manufacturers of the last year.

spawn237 questioned:

I was wondering what you reflect about using Diesel in passenger cars, SUV and set alight car applications.

In Europe now nearly 70% of new registrations are vehicles equipped with Diesel engines.
Vehicles are loved for their potential collective with a splendid fuel state.

In the last being here was a road test where they compared a Hybrid (I judge a Honda) with a Turbodiesel powered VW. The VW kicked the Hybrids ass both in potential and fuel state.

If you were in the market for a vehicle now, would you:

1. Deliberate the vehicles fuel state?
2. Deliberate export a Hybrid?
3. Deliberate export a Diesel?

If you deliberate a Hybrid vehicle, do you even reflect about what is inane to take place to the battery cells at the end of the vehicles life (or their useable life)?

Knowing that Diesel may yield detrimental gases (NOx), would you subdue prefer it in view of the fact that it will at the same time yield greatly less Carbon Dioxide than Gasoline engines with akin potential?
Also, have you had a opportunity to handbook a bestow Turbodiesel, such as a VW TDI, Mercedes CDI, BMW Diesel, Ford TDCI or Peugeot HDi, etc. ??
What did you reflect compared to a gasoline model with similar engine size/potential rating?
I see you all seem to like the hybrids a lot :-)

I’d like you to reflect based on Joe Average.
You probably subdue want an SUV, but the Ford Pleasure trip is just too huge for you.
But you subdue want to be able to tow your 3 snowmobiles on a trailer.

Tires and gas mileage?

bosox2311 questioned:

I had an argument recently with my friend about Tire size and gas mileage.

He says a better tire will get you better gas mileage. I say that the tire the car comes with, is in most cases, the size that will give you optimal fuel efficiency.

He says that a huge tire will get better gas mileage but why does a toyota pruis have small tires? Why, if huge tires get better gas mileage, would a hybrid vehicle get better gas mileage?

His argument is that one revolution of the tire would get you limb of the clergy on a better veer. While this is right, the tire would also be heavier and take more break down to go that interval.

Can a name delight help? Any pledge especially with a nice algebraic or most likely one with get a thumbs up and maybe a “best pledge”.

cardinalfanusa questioned:

I challenge anyone to say why my plot will not work.

Plot:
The regime is preparation on costs $700 billion on fiscal relief. As a substitution for, take the $700 billion and pay half of the hold of a fuel efficient (35+ MPG) and/or hybrid vehicle to give out to Effective Americans. $700 billion would helf hold fuel efficient vehicles for over 46 million effective Americans.

Just say that these 46 million effective Americans average 20 MPG in their current vehicles and handbook an average of 10,000 miles each year. Now, they’re driving 460 billion miles each year and using approximately 23 billion gallons of gasoline.

By rising their MPG to 35+, you’re sinking the amount of gasoline used to about 13 billion gallons/year.

13 billion gallons of gasoline equates to about 600 million barrels of oil each year or about 1.8 million each day. This would reduce U.S. oil addiction by about 9%.

On top of this, with American’s paying the additional half of the car hold, this would be pumping about $690 billion into the state!

Not terrible, huh?
