I have a 96 civic ex sedan that’s automatic with d16a engine. Days gone by I refilled with the needle hit the 1/2 tank mark with 192 km obsessed. When i start my car it idles around 1500rpm and 1000rpm when i stop at red illumination, I only handbook in city at around around 3000 rpm to 3500 rpm max. It took 18.3 liters to refill to full and cost me $16. So i did this calculations to find out, not sure if this how u calculate fuel efficiency even if

192 km = 119.3 miles

18.3 liters = 4.8 gallons

119.3/4.8 = 24.8 mpg

This is my first car so is 24.8mpg excellent for the type of driving I do?

For a first car I would like to get a brand new, small city car but which has the best fuel efficiency (MPG)?

Just got as a first car a 2002 chevy malibu with 79000 miles on.
So far the car has had besides oil changes and air filters some piston work done for misfiring at 32000 miles and a brake job at 45000 miles. The tires are worn sweet excellent with about 1/4 of thread left on them.
Looking for a “specialist” to assess what I will probably need to be doing on this car as far as air force in the near possibility as well as possible prices I’m looking at. I saw for wits a set of all time of year tires strain new is about $500 but that don’t contain labor and allignment.
I must also bring up I guess the car seems in ok affect with the 2 obvious tribulations life a nonworking fuel gauge, a nonworking engine temp gauge. I heard these 2 are very pricey and probably not value it to fix.
