I just bought a 2008 Saturn Vue Hybrid with extended warranty. Did I get ripped off?
Ryan M questioned:
I just hold a 2008 Saturn Vue Hybrid with 8000 miles on it. I was talked into buy the 5yr/60k total warranty, along with the tire coverage. In total it costed me about $1200, which added around 30 bucks/ month to my payment. My question is do you reflect I got suckered in, or is this a excellent thought in view of the fact that it’s a hybrid and parts may be more pricey. I plot to keep the vehicle for around 5 being. And also it here a way I can cancel this coverage and get my cash back?

Extended Warranty Lexus Hybrid?
Sean questioned:
Hi,
Must I hold an total warranty for my Lexus RX400h for $2,100? I read on Consumer Report that total warranty is a waste of cash, especially on a reliable Lexus. But this is a Hybrid vehicle, in which has the Manufacturer Warranty to 100K for the battery, and 5 year/50,000 powertrain. The total warranty would only extends the powertrain to 100K, and overlapping the hybrid battery coverage by the manufacturer. The Lexus is 2007 and now at 33K. Anyone has any problem with their Lexus Hybrid or Toyota Hybrid, if so, how much does it cost them to repair? I heard the battery last up to 150-200K, way past the total warranty cycle.
Thankfulness!
