froth68 questioned:
if a name takes the amount of energy to yield one vs a coventional car, the equipment of disposing the batteries and most of all, the life expectency of the hybrid car.
for model, my ford car, f350 diesel gets 20mpg on the highway, i run honest bio in it and it will last well over 300k, or heck, even 400k before the engine wants rebuilt, the trans will last about 120k-150k before needing rebuilt.
i skepticism a hybrid would ever last that long, so in look 3 hybrids would copy my one car as far as longetivity goes.
add that with all the expenditure of making the hybrid, transporting hybrids, extraction and transporting the raw equipment for making hybrids, is having a hybrid really more environmentally friendly?
it seems to be just exchanging one mpg savings for another, by and large pollution and fuel consumption to me would be the same, added privileged expenditure for repairs, they don’t seem environmentally friendly near as much as they are made out to be.

Matt questioned:
With the now unreliable regime and all of the “environmentally friendly” campaign adds on TV, it seems to me that any serious plot on climate chat would start with unreliable taxis to eco friendly fuels/ hybrid vehicles. This equipment is already unfilled, i.e. Toyota Prius.
Wouldnt the generous number of taxis sold then break down our domestic vehicle manufacturers to look at producing competetively priced eco friendly vehicles.
Indeed the cost come forth would be offset by the rising expenditure of petroleum worldwide and the fact that these vehicles are much more fuel efficient.
