Edward P questioned:

I bought a 2008 get out of Avenger. The promised fuel state is around 9.8L/100km (that is, 100% city driving). The experimental fuel state is more like outrageous 13~14L/100km and I always keep the rpm between 2000~2500rpm.

Is here anything I can do with the car dealer or car maker? If the car I’m driving is not defective, is here anything I can do to get my cash back? I mean, with fuel efficiency like that, I’d very handbook a Hummer.
I have already adopted smarter driving skills long ago. I accelerate reasonably at a snail's pace (slower than the general flow of conveying). I also tend to brake the smallest amount number of era. I never turn on A/C, don’t ordinarily open windows, etc etc. I batter to N when it’s a gentle downhill so I can glide all the way. All in all, here is NO WAY to reduce fuel mileage by unreliable my driving lifestyle. I just want to know what I can do about this fuel state scam.

Also, does anyone know why get out of vehicles have this annoying trend to sustain RPM? Even when I place my foot off the accelerator, it subdue retains 2,000rpm at 60km/h and yet the car is not sustaining speed at all.

John K questioned:

In view of the fact that Tesla is appearance out with a sedan in a few being to stay on up its sports car, it makes implication to stay on this send to what so many Americans want to buy.

Similarly, a full gripping translation seems to make more implication even than the hybrids that GM, get out of, etc. are inane to place out (much stuck-up efficiency) and here is bounty of room for the battery packs required.

Doesn’t that seem a most likely step for the margin?

(I am not collectively with high mileage stylishness of speaking vehicles or those who really go to the approximate public here)
I did specifically exclude those who take their SUVs long interval (most public don’t tow boats to Florida).

Also, anyone who understands much about Tesla knows they’re not underpowered (even if a moderately better motor would be called for, it would subdue be much smaller than a conventional engine. This leaves bounty of room for batteries to take it a few hundred miles). Max torque unfilled a 0 RPM – not one conventional car engine can contest that.
