hybrid cars

rusted_gut questioned:

Habitual cars would use fuel with an efficiency of about 30%, using the fuel frankly and releasing gasses into the ambiance, which is terrible.
But can it be that habitual cars/especially hybrids would be better for the enviroment?
-In view of the fact that an gripping car uses electricity which is generated far away ordinarily by earnings of burning fossil fuels(like the habitual car) at lets say 30% then it is sent owing to kilometers of copper cable and a lot of transformers always bringing up the rear some energy by resistance and THEN u payment your sweet much inificient batttery to run the elctric motor. So in the end a lot more coal has to be burned then a habitual fuel car would use.

Is this assess? or am i just thought…the ideal of gripping cars would be if the potential is generated from sterile renewable sources(sun/wind)

I have a crazy crush on Al Gore! Would this get his attention?

Ashay questioned:

A Modest Bid
For Reduction the Planet

With global warming attacking our fantastic planet and depleting our ozone layer, Earth doesn’t have much time left. We see this as a problem, a very huge problem to be sure. Something must be done to save the planet (not to bring up creature life), and we have that key.
This grand, planet-reduction, key is reasonably evenhanded and not impossible: build a second earth to inhabit all owing to the restoration of the original earth’s natural assets and ozone. But, where will we get the potential to start this new planet? Simple, start new laws and form a assemble of Planet Police to enforce them. The new laws will be at the very smallest amount austere, but in order for our fleeting planet to be bent, equipment on Earth must chat.
Laws which will be bent will be bent for the function of preserving energy and potential to at the outset, save it for the foundation of Second Earth, and secondly, to keep Original Earth from life injured even more. For model, the use of any transportation, additional than on foot, running, or bike riding, is exactingly forbidden. Vehicular pollution causes, at smallest amount, 92 million Americans to live with smog invading in their day after day lives. By completely eliminating the burning of fossil fuels in vehicles, the amount of smog and acid rain will drastically fall, and eventually disappear. Also, while on the subject of burning fossil fuels, huge factories which yield millions of carbon dioxide/monoxide molecules to be released into our air will be everlastingly shut down. This will not only eliminate another source of pollution, but it will also place millions out of work, and that earnings all hands on deck for the construction of Second Earth. In addition to these new, innovative laws, cutting down plants and plants will also be a very, very appalling fault. Plants and plants clean the air we breathe, and cutting down such a vital store would be absolutely ridiculous. Therefore, with invoking such laws, here will be a superfluity of public more than ready to start Second Earth, a better home for us all, until Original Earth has replenished itself in as natural of stylishness as possible.
These laws, and hundreds more like them, plus the foundation of Second Earth are just so what this planet wants in order to carry on the devastating equipment of pollution… Right? Must we take such desperate measures in order to keep our planet from apt a ozone-less dump? As a substitution for, we judge that the transition from fossil fuel abusing vehicles to a generous amount of hybrid vehicles is really benefiting our planet. If public would only step outside of their diesel trucks and realize what is experience to the only place they’ve got to call home, maybe more may maybe be done to protect Earth. We’re discussion about the eventual end of the planet here! Is building a new planet the best key? No. Stop butchery and polluting our oxygen, stop relying on factories, and the clarification bits and pieces they yield, to live. If the public on this planet wish to keep it, we must all join forces to make that take place.
Then again, building Second Earth, and income without cars and planes would be a unbelievable amount of fun, and boy, we are certainly up for fun!
