rjm96 questioned:
I am frustrated with the speechifying and politics !
Does all on the hybrid and E85 bandwagon be with you the following?? Observations?? Constructive observations!
Hybirds Reside in a premium over a akin gasoline engine. Antithetical any benefit in fuel mpg gained.
Hybrids have many more batteries made of precious metals lead and nickel not to bring up acid, adding consequence to the vehicle and making serious disposal, ( hazardous equipment) repair and substitution issues.
Hybrids Don’t get somewhere near the EPA estimates in mileage.
Ethanol Causes MPG to drop 20-30 %.Ethanol has less energy ( in BTU’s) then gasoline. Physics
Ethanol Absorbs fill up and is biting. This makes massive Storage space space and transportation issues.( Even if E85 cars are designed for this).
Ethanol Is very tiresome to make yield much more so then gasoline.
Oh, and Bio-diesel is even of poorer quality then any of the privileged than.

Mr. USA questioned:
For model, a gallon of gasoline possesses 124,884 BTU of energy, what percentage is lost due to heat, friction and incomplete combustion? How about for diesel engines? Typical numbers delight. Be grateful you.

janzep questioned:
I’m compelling into account using a Circlet charbroiler for recreational use. Bought it from restaurant liquidation. Converting give line to natural gas instant-join. I’m told the char-broiled steakhouse flavour is austerely a upshot of BTU’s and that the Home Railroad rank diversity of gas bbq may maybe not completely imitate that cooking mode.
