The Vision Plug – in is a 356 hp 2+2 thought car capable of driving only on gripping motor for 31 miles and can force another 400 miles on the diesel engine which has 6.6 gallon tank room. The gripping consumption of the Vision is 28.16kWh/100 miles while the Chevy Volt is having 25kWh/100 miles of the same.

The Vision wants just about 4.8 seconds to speed to 60 miles/hour from early, and can speed up to 155 miles/hour with a 3 cylinder 1.5 liter supervise over injection turbo diesel engine and gripping motors on each of the axles. The Vision gets 62.2 mpg and emits a Prius-like 99 grams of CO2 per kilometer.

The BMW by pulling back the Diesel engine just yet to be to the back axle which combines with small adjoin gripping motor, have achieved a low adjoin end. Why don’t they make hybird steam-gas engines?

David S questioned:

BMW is effective on steam-gas hybrid engine and Ford must be too. It may be able to capture up to 80% of waste heat and boost fuel efficiency. The gas engine block and exhaust waste heat it is used to generate steam. The engine block is in continuous 100 C fill up at full like for optimum mechanical top. The exhaust heats up the mist to boost the pressure and efficiency. For an all mechanical motor logic it will have low driving potential until the steam heats up.

An gripping motor car would start of at full potential. The battery size does not have to be too generous in view of the fact that it only wants ample to handbook 10-15 summary until the steam heats up. Then it generates bounty of electricity to handbook a long interval.

When a self fills up with gas they also fill up with fill up. It would be designed to have ample fill up and gas so that they are consumed at about the same rate.

BMW is bragging about a 62 mpg hybrid. In the mid 90’s Honda made a 58 mpg Civic, so whats the big deal?

Humdot questioned:

Hi all, im looking to buy a BMW e36 and just have a couple of questions. I was at the start inane for a 325i but upon conception about it i found out that they consume a lot of fuel, so i altered my mind for a 318i and then read that the 318is has better normal than the 318i and also has the fuel efficiency, but the only problem is that apparently you have to use premium unleaded gas for the 318is, in the end what i want to know is which will save me more cash on gas, the 325i or the 318is (using premium unleaded on the 318is)? And also does it make a difference or do any hurt to place fixed unleaded in a 318is?
Thankfulness and sorry for the long question :P
