Now’s Hybrids (like the Prius) run on gasoline and electricity. The batteries are exciting when you are braking and when the engine is running.
In the not too unfriendly possibility, you will have plug in hybrids (look up the Chevy Volt), that will allocate you to payment the batteries at home, but subdue has an engine that will run a generator to grant potential to the gripping motors and payment the batteries.
EDIT – I don’t know where you live, but in the US here are no diesel hybrids – gasoline only. In view of the fact that you said gas and not gas – I’m guessing you’re in the US?
some fixed gas, some on deisel. Sometimes they get electricity from generators in the car, some cars plug in to payment the batteries as well. Depends on what make and model.
