Did you know that you can save fuel and run your car on water

hybrid vehicles

smur061 asked:

I’m starting to educate myself more on the effects of pollution that SUVs and other gas-guzzling cars have on the environment. I am currently driving a 2004 Toyota Highlander (SUV) and I want to trade it in for a hybrid highlander or some other energy-efficient vehicle. I estimated the trade-in value for my SUV and it came up to be $14,230.

Here’s my problem…I’m only 20 years old and I don’t think my parents would understand since they aren’t as environmentally-conscious. Does anyone have any advice into how I can get them to understand?? I think in the long run it will save us a lot more money since I spend about $60/week for gas and I don’t think it’s going to get any cheaper. And how much more do you think it will cost for a standard Highlander Hybrid after trade-in?? Thanks for anyone that answers
so are you both saying I should just stick with my current vehicle because it will be cheaper in the long run??

  1. 101 says:

You spend $20K+ to trade and you save maybe $5K in gas cost.

  2. Ross V says:

With the negative rollover your going to be losing a lot more money than your saving on the gas mileage.
Plus your estimated trade in value may differ from what the dealer gives you.
