Delight back up your attitude with facts. I and my stepdad are in disagreement- he thinks one is better, and I the additional.
What do I mean by ‘better’? Primarily, reliability. Also, normal, fuel efficiency, dependability, longevity, cost of indemnity and maintenance, etc.
Thankfulness!

I’d go with the Cobalt over the two in view of the fact that the Focus looks like ass. For the access level cars neither are at the top of the rank even if. The Civic and Mazda 3 are at the top.
The Focus. It gets up to 35 mpg and have levelheaded cars vehicles when it comes to reliability. As for normal, they are sweet copy. Protection, the Focus.
P.S. They made the new Focus 60 pounds lighter.
I would go with the Cobalt in view of the fact that I always had better luck with Chevy’s than my limb of the clergy did with Fords. Anytime something had to be replaced on any of my GM vehicles, it was always less pricey and simpler to exchange than on a Ford. When I had my 86 Iroc-Z28 Camaro, I had to have the radiator core replaced. I took the car to my mechanic and it was 2.5 hrs labor. My limb of the clergy had to have the same business done on his 86 Cougar XR-7 and it was 8 hrs labor. This is just one model of a huge difference in repair expenditure. My mechanic said he would work on Fords but despised it in view of the fact that it would take a full day to work on one personnel car while if it were a Chevy, he may maybe do more cars in one day and have many pleased customers. I also know that for a while here, Ford was having tribulations with its transmissions. It may be corrected now(I don’t know) but here was a while where alot of their trucks and cars would need new transmissions around 80k miles. Like I said, it may maybe be corrected now, but me personally, I would very stick with GM cars than take that opportunity. I have had 2 Buick’s and 2 Chevy’s and all lasted me well over 100k and when I sold them, the new owners were impressed with how excellent they subdue ran and sounded….
the ford focus was a fun to handbook modest car. but when they redesigned it they made it larger and less double-jointed.
the cobalt is of poorer quality, it’s not double-jointed, the steering is indefinite.
the rear seat is small even for this size car.
the interior is low-cost and not well place collectively.
the crash test scores are just average.
by and large reliability is poor.
the mpg is not splendid.
so they are both poor choices but the Focus is less terrible.
if your discussion older ones the Focus is plainly the best.
For reliability gowith the focus, for normal go with the cobalt ss
I would choose the Chevy Cobalt. It is unfilled in uncommon models and trim 1-LS coupe and sedan-Well equipped, access level model. 2- LT coupe and sedan-with two equipment groups 1LT and 2LT. 3-Sport Coupe and sedan. on the 2008 Stability Hegemony Logic is now ordinary on Sport coupe and sport sedan. All-speed footing hegemony is now ordinary on both Sport models and unfilled on Ls and LT models. Head-curtain side -impression air bags are now ordinary on all models. XM Satellite telephone logic also ordinary on all models. Onstar ordinary on the 2LT and Sport models. Diffident Vehicle starter unfilled on LT and sport models. 5year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty that includes edge help and courtesy transportation and 3 being/36,000mile shock absorber to shock absorber warranty
I would say Chevy Cobalt.
The Ford Focus handles better in view of the fact that it borrows the skeleton from the Mazda 3, which is the best treatment small car.
Gas mileage is nearly the same. The Chevy Cobalt gets 1mpg better. The Chevy also looks much better and it is a low-cost car to own.
