hybrids are a huge scam! Why is it in 1979 they had cars being paid over 50 mpg and now you need a hybrid to not even get to that!!!!! its all a scam for us to pay more cash! and how will you dispose of the batteries when they are used up? and how much does the electrical cost to payment the batteries! sure you save a modest on gas but waste 2 era as much on electricity!
mmmm… the Mercury Mariner. It’s a sizeable SUV, not too huge, splendid interior AND it comes as a hybrid! I Like it.
Lord Dark no matter what is an idiot, you don’t use electricity to payment the batteries, they payment themselves as you handbook (when braking, etc.). They do not plug in at all (even if “plugin” hybrids will come one of these days).
The Prius is the best hybrid out here, austerely in view of the fact that it’s the only one (not collectively with the tiny Insight) that was designed from the outset to be so. The additional sedans have compromised stem interval to make room for the batteries, so the Prius has more stem interval than Camry, Altima, or Civic hybrids.
One business to deliberate – if you handbook frequently on the highway, hybrids are probably not value it (you’ll never get back the privileged price at the pump), you’ll see most have better city ratings than highway. If that’s the case, better just to get a Civic, Fit, Corolla, no matter what.
My pet hybrid cars:
-Toyota Prius
-Toyota Camry Hybrid
-Nissan Altima Hybrid
-Toyota Highlander Hybrid
My pet hybrid is the Honda Insight in view of the fact that it was the first Hybrid and it subdue has the best gas mileage in the planet with up to 66mpg.
