Did you know that you can save fuel and run your car on water

hybrid vehicles

iThug asked:

I can’t decide which I like better. I know that these vehicles can’t be directly compared, but they do each have their own pros and cons. For example, the Escalade has a third row, and is a hybrid. Whereas the Range Rover has a more dynamic offroading system and better handling. Anyways so which do you guys think is better and why?

Thanks!
Upon my research, i’ve noticed the sound system of these vehicles. Escalade = Bose and Range Rover = Harmon/Kardon. I think the Escalade has the edge on that detail, I like Bose sound a bit better than Harmon/Kardon.

What you like is your thing. What I like is my thing. 90% of the people that buy vehicles, do so based upon a lot of emotion. If we excluded the emotion from the equation, we would all be driving 2 cylander hybrids! But given the choice you gave, I would go for the Escalade. Why? Range Rover is a comparable vehicle, but is a foreign vehicle. The cost of parts, repairs, and sometimes maintenance, is 40% higher than American made cars. Why? For that answer, you have to be a finance wizzard. But that’s just the way it is. Small example: My friend bought a foreign car. Sports model. Beautiful machine. Loved it. Brand new. Only thing was, after one month he decided that the ‘lug nuts’ on the wheels should be chrome. The ones on the car were not. So he went to the dealer service area and ordered the chrome lug nuts. 4 sets. 1 set for each wheel. How much? $276.00!! for lug nuts. Comparable item for American made vehicle, $ $81.00. Go cadillac. You won’t be sorry.

Things to consider- I am impartial to either.

The fuel savings you’d have with the hybrid won’t offset the extra cost of the hybrid engine feature for at least 5 years.

Range Rovers have been notorious for their horrendous electrical system reliability. Thus, expect to only service it at a LR dealership. The Escalade is a dolled up Tahoe, serviceable anywhere GMs are sold.

Will you actually be doing any off-roading in a $80K vehicle?

They are slightly different, but also very similar, expect top of the line amenities in both vehicles. Unless they stress the exquistitness of the sound system like they do in the Lexus’, expect them to be about the same.

Range Rover is a lot sharper and flattering looking vehicle. The Escalade has the that early 2000′s bulgy, voluptuous SUV look that’s going out of style.
