Did you know that you can save fuel and run your car on water

fuel efficiency

Dejavu73 questioned:

If it is right that give and demand affects the price of goods, then we as customers must be able to lower the price of oil by life determined to consume a lot less gas and petroleum base harvest. It has to be done over a long cycle of time, for model on foot to the store when possible, doing a few errands at the same time, export cars with better fuel efficiency.

I also reflect it is not a terrible Thought to start a national day without gas (apart from for those with especific wants like, police, fire fighters, doctors, etc.). Even even if this doesn’t chat give and demand it sends a strong thought to the oil producing companies that public really care about the price of oil. Any thoughs on this come forth?

In my attitude, the entire come forth is nonsense. Gas is Low-cost! Just in view of the fact that you don’t like paying for it doesn’t chat the fact that transportation, heating, energy in general is cheaper now than at any time in creature description. The wits you want it to be even cheaper is in view of the fact that you take pleasure in it so very, very much. It’s value what we are paying – if it weren’t value it, we wouldn’t pay it. It’s unadorned.

I reflect the registration for suv’s must be like $1000 per year public would stop export them. Base a fee of registration an a cars fuel consumption

    Excellent question….

The only pressure that customers can exert is to fall demand… Even if the way the equipment are drying up we’d have to slash demand very than just walk to the store once a week..

And Matthew? – What are you, like 8 being ancient?

Fuel may be low-cost in the US… You know why?

In view of the fact that your Regime keeps it that way to make sure your parents keep voting for them…

It doesn’t have to worry about it’s give drying up just yet in view of the fact that each-time a public threatens to deny the oil, the Marines get sent in to ‘Bring down a corrupt chief’

Why do you reflect not anything’s experience about the circumstances in Burma?… You did know something was experience in Burma?

    That’s right… No oil…

The (over) developed planet is flow of blood the planet dry… And it’s public with your attitude that are the main offenders..

(Sorry for hijacking the thread… But ignorance of global issues really makes my blood boil)

This is a excellent question. It is confirmed better than many additional public who question “Oh Mi God, what is it now?”

On the biased level, here is a campaign right now for President. At each argument where public can question questions, we need to be asking about issues that are vital to us. One is not that the gasoline prices are rising sharply, but the state’s addiction on unknown oil which in turn has tribulations: our involvement in Midpoint East conflicts; the planet’s oil equipment may be running out.

Another national biased come forth is that oil is unfilled from the ocean baffle all over the place, but we have banned off coast oil rigs along east & west coasts of America, limiting to Gulf of Mexico which can be hazardous to our oil affect in hurricane time of year. Here wants to be a national argument as to the wisdom of not allowing oil drilling off east and west coasts of America.

Is here apt funding for upshot solutions to the nuclear waste from potential plants, or developing fusion potential, which in scheme has no nuclear waste?

Here’s also community politics. Did you know that here are alternatives to gasoline and diesel (like 18 wheelers use) for fueling vehicles? Some of these alternatives make implication for fleets of city busses, city vehicles like fire, police, ambulance. If your city has not already looked into this, maybe it is time a name suggested it.

Try out out Yahoo Answers rank on tje Background … here’s material in here about uncommon energy vehicles.

Here’s also company vehicles. This is where uncommon employees may borrow a car or pickup that belongs to the company. Now with our confidential car, we get fixed oil changes, tune-ups etc. but who is compelling care of that for the company vehicle? Is it being paid genteel maintenance, or has it twisted into a gas guzzler & no one paying attention?

Here are trade-offs between fuel consumption, and added pollution, and wear & tear on car parts, from often turning off and restarting our engines. Infer you are in a conveying jam & it looks like the conveying won’t be tender for a fastidious part of time … does it make implication to turn off your engine while coming up? Perhaps this must be a separate question in Yahoo Answers in a uncommon Rank such as Cars & Transportation, or Knowledge & the Background.

Look at how the state has developed … with the Throughway Highway logic … we all like the frankness, get in our car & go somewhere. Is here any way that infrastructure can be evolved economically, without sincerely impairing our freedoms?

Model, where interstates between cities have a generous ribbon of Lawn in between contrary management conveying, bed in a rail line, where we can handbook our cars on board, then ride in passenger section. This way if we doing a trip of hundreds of miles, we turn up at destination city with our confidential car, but the rail line used electricity from hydro-gripping or additional uncommon energy, and our trip was much more restful.

We live on a planet with non-renewable energy sources that we are using up, while sunlight streams past our planet, inane to waste. Can’t some of that solar energy be captured out in interval, and redirected to Earth in a safe way? This requires sustained support for NASA or no matter what furnish will bed in it, then protect it from terrorists. They won’t go up here, they will attack the infrastructure on earth that joystick the equipment.

Many public have already full state measures, and have not anything new to try.

New cars are out that get greatly stuck-up miles per gallon. Can we meet the expense of to batter?

Bicycles don’t use any gasoline. Is it safe and matter-of-fact where we are to batter to this for some travel?

If we have a bunch of errands, can we plot our trip to minimize the interval traveled?

Are any of us in a circumstances where car-pooling is matter-of-fact, that we are not already doing.

If here is a famine, then all of us huge our tanks & driving around with semi-full, that we won’t need for a few days, helps lower give at gas pumps. If we were to only fill 1/2 our tank, refill more often, then more not yet sold, less of a famine, lower prices. This notion depends on the scheme that here is a famine & many public buy into it.

I have answered variations on this question before with somewhat uncommon focus. Try out out:

I got best pledge (out of 9) here: I tried to clarify Additional material than habitual give & demand
    * international circumstances that is driving gas prices up
    * possibility’s market impression on gas pricing
    * artificial bottlenecks

  5. hmark says:

While it is right that most of us (unadorned folks) can stop using gas or alternative to additional methods of travel, many do not like to be inconvenienced. This is doubly right for business public – they can’t meet the expense of to not use gas. Business does not stand subdue.

A Pause is a splendid thought, but, I don’t know how many would really trade their distress to make a top. This has been tried in the past – boycotting ExxonMobile and using some additional gas. And the outcome? They’re making just as much cash as before. Our manufacturers of SUVs, trucks, cars have not declined any even with the ridiculous amounts gas are life exciting for. You need a national movement to make OPEC sit up and take see. They are collectively with on the customers who are export up the gas-guzzlers to continue the upward trend.
