Ways of improve fuel economy in existing cars? Hybrid/electric conversion?

Ok so here’s the deal… I’m tiresome to come up with a business plot for a rank for a company that would be able to boost MPG in unfilled, used, on the road, cars…
My first thought is to try and find a mode of converting a gasoline powered car to a hybrid gripping/gasoline… Would it be any where near cost effectual? How long before we’d have the equipment to do so?
How about ways of converting cars to run on gripping potential or interchangeable battery packs or equipment like that? I know its possible, but would any habitual not-environmentally concerned self ever do it?
I want to come up with an incredible business plot that will blow public’s minds… I reflect a hybrid conversion would be incredible but is here any opportunity I may maybe make it take place? Even if it is not yet completely cost effectual, is it realistic? Would it be helped with economies of extent i.e. the more conversions are done the cheaper they become?

    I don’t reflect it would be cost effectual to convert to hybrid, the simplest step would be to chat the way company vehicles are obsessed, the city I live in has a leaflet for city leased vehicles that in the end states, when driving, handbook smoothly, ie no quick accellerating or heavy braking, pull away from illumination or stop cryptogram smoothly but gently, and coast to a stop when possible.

    I would recommend looking at diesel cars/trucks. here are some vital conversion kits that allocate a diesel to run on used vegetable oil. you may maybe develop a plot to make this type of conversion more accessable/desireable. i don’t know all the technicals on converting to hybrid, but i would guess that it would be impractical. the engines work diferently, same with transmisions. also, the batteries would take up a lot of interval. reflect about the diesel thought, here is lots of info on the web, you may be able to bring collectively a couple dreams to come up with something really only one of its kind

    Yes, here is how to do it. The key is to build Run hybrids, not the analogous hybrids life sold now. A run hybrid is an gripping car, with a gas generator which austerely charges the batteries. Run hybrids get much better gas mileage and are much simpler involuntarily (only one transmission as a substitution for of two.) The added benefit is life able to plug the car in and handbook on grid electricity as well (for about a Fifty pence cut per mile.)

    You may also want to look at the new battery technologies that are maturing this year. First are the Altairnano batteries. These are improved Lithium batteries that are safer, closer charging, and longer lasting. Here’s some info on them:

    The Altairnanos are used in the imminent Phoenix gripping car. This car gets up to 250 miles per payment, can give a new lease of life in only TEN summary, and can reside in 5 passengers and cargo at 95mph. The batteries are excellent for more than 200,000 miles. Info here:

    Also exciting is supercapacitor equipment. Supercapacitors are better than batteries in that they never wear out, and can be exciting in mere seconds. EESTOR is the company to watch. Here’s some info:

    Then we have the Chinese, who are all ears on bringing down the cost of li-ion batteries. These batteries are both better, and much cheaper (1/10th the cost) than most additional lithium batteries:

    And last, take a look at Firefly batteries. This company has improved the 100-year-ancient Lead-Acid battery to make it much lighter and much more powerful. These batteries are also probable to be much less pricey than the struggle:
