Is there a legal disclaimer that the makers of “Hybrid” cars need to make about the risk of electrocution?

hybrid cars

Fedup Veteran asked:

It seems that the “Hybrid” cars are dangerous if they get into an accident because of the high electricity which flows through them. This means that EMTs and fire fighters need to ground the vehicle before giving ANY kind of aid.

Are they required to have people sign a statement clearing them of liability, if the person gets into an accident?
Because Regular cars don’t electrocute the EMT worker trying to get the person OUT of the thing.

A couple weeks ago I saw an accident with a hybrid car and they made him drive it to a parking lot where there were NO cars around. If the guy was severely hurt he would have been toast.
You can SEE a fire…you can’t see if a hybrid is hot, nor do you know if the car is turned off or not.

how about cars with gas tanks? that gas could leak out and catch fire…..

Hybrids – as is true with ‘normal’ cars – are inherently unsafe.

For the love of God! Methane derives from the most uber-gnarly (gnarly FUBAR-ly) of all gnarlies!

And – given that such ‘gnarlies’ are so indefinitely plentiful – why don’t we just give methane a chance?

[the 'gnarlies' I refer to sail out the back ends of mammals, chickens, democrats and other birds]
