Did you know that you can save fuel and run your car on water
diana t asked:
I am going to sue Honda for my 07 civic hybrid as the car can’t run in the heat of the desert. My a/c goes out whenthere’s no battery and drives at 14mph (saftey issue.) Honda says this is normal and will not proform in the heat of the desert. Where the disclosers? Honda refuses to do anything about there problem and tells me there alot of us out there in the desert. please contact me asap if you have this problem. Also the gas milage is a lie I get 25-8mpg NOT 49/51. please let me know who you are as I am looking to sue real shortley here. thanks

You sure it’s not issues with the vehicle? If it’s under warrenty, which im sure it is, take it to your dealer and complain about it. Heatsoak is something cars experience in dry heat and hurts the performance of the vehicle greatly.
This is a clear ethical failure of the dealer in your area.
Batteries are very susceptible to high heat. And exposure to desert heat would be enough to create the problems you describe.
I would go higher than the dealer level. Contact Honda directly through their website and voice your displeasure. If they resist at that point, a class action law suit might get them to change their tune.
The Civic hybrid isn’t a cheap car. You deserve more reliable performance. At the very least, get them to trade you across for a regular Civic sedan which can do far better on the milage on the highway.
