Frickheadbird questioned:
Just bought a 2007 HCH II a month ago – 1800 kms so far and I’m being paid engine, battery, and IMA failure illumination on on the dash. The IMA logic shuts down completely when this happens. The car subdue runs on the gas engine, but is very sluggish. Happens frequently on hot re-starts (stop for a fleeting time, then re-start the car). Has also happened on the highway. I’ve read about four additional cases of this in the US, but all were 2006 models – I subdue place of protection’t heard of any pledge besides replacing the vehicle. My car subdue hasn’t been check out by a dealer, as the soonest appointment they may maybe give me is one week away. Just tiresome to figure out if this is inane to be as huge of a problem as it was with the ones in the U.S..

I just had those tribulations with a uncommon make, but it was the alternator. $200 before long, it runs splendid. Also the mechanic found something weird – in all his 26 being of work with electrical systems and cars in general, he has never seen an engine flash or really arc from the outside of the engine to an outdoor source. That’s what mine was doing, with he replaced the alternator.
Excellent luck.
Watch you will have a P15A5 and P0A3F
that earnings the rotor spot feeler is terrible
all 2006 and 2007 have the same part and they seem to be inane terrible alot.
I have replaced 5 so far AND ITS A PAIN TO DO
the feeler is in the rear the transmission and is a full days job to do.
They will need to order the feeler and a special tool to pull thte rotor
so far the newer Civic has not been problem free
