I thought that hybrid cars just utilize energy given off when the car brakes, (using the spinning to move an electric generator, which uses magnets, so no reaction there)
otherwise it’s just like any other car
in lieu of saving energy, you could talk about nuclear energy, which is a chemical reaction
there are also cars run on hydrogen or ethanol
