Hi, I heard some public said manufacturing the battery of a hybrid car really consumes more energy than a hybrid car saves, is here any support is unfilled for this proclamation? I did some unadorned estimation and it seems it is reasonably dodgy. But I subdue want to take note to opinions of experts in the planet. Thankfulness!!!

    I have heard that too, but I don’t know just so how right it is.

    I do know that making the batteries can be very damaging to the background (especially the nickle batteries).

    I have not found a hybrid an economical fiscal extent for Inner-city or highway driving. A right assess of your question would contain the energy / natural assets, and manufacturing processes required to build, bed in, keep up, and most notably retire the hybrid battery pack. Several new technologies are appearance to set alight in contemporary era. Hydraulic hybrid buses & gibberish compactors are life built & veteran. They demand no petrochemical harvest, and even if yet to be proved or mass bent, get my vote over battery help. Besides, being paid showered with peanut based hydraulic oil is simpler to envision than battery acid gel in a motor vehicle accident.

    I’ve read that too, but have seen many articles on sights like treehugger.com and others that demystify that scheme. Now that American automakers are jumping on the gripping car bandwagon you will hear a lot less of this disinformation.

    I don’t reflect the battery takes that much energy to make, even if it force not be the most environmentally friendly business in the planet once bent.

    But, it is questionable whether a hybrid really saves energy. Recently a BMW M3 beat a Toyota Prius in a mileage test.

    It does take about 20 barrels of oil value of energy and about 120,000 gallons of fresh fill up to manufacture your average total new car. That mount of energy would keep your ancient car, even if it was an SUV, driving for reasonably some time.

    Not reasonably, but when collective with the disposal of the batteries, hybrid cars are really of poorer quality than pure gasoline.

    We need to go completely electrical or completely gasoline. Not of this dicking around in the midpoint. It’s not caring.

    I don’t reflect that’s a significant evaluation. It would always depend on how long you use the car for. Here would have to be a huge thought at the center of that argument/myth about the part of time an average user would keep the car for. Due to relative infancy of the gripping car market, a figure like that would be hard to come up with, and would have to be thorough crude at best.

    the myth is based on the equipment used to yield the battery and does not take into tab the number of batteries bent.
    also does not take into consideration that pumping gasoline and worrying about gas prices also consume energy.

    No car “saves” energy.

    a hybrid takes only vaguely more clarification to build than ancient fashioned akin infernal combustion lonely; but will save that in fuel treatment in 20,000 miles or so. And will a Prius will take much less energy to make than a huge heavy 4×4, just deliberate the galleons of oil to make the tyres lonely.

    here have been innumerable spurious tales tiresome to blow the Prius a typical very dubious report is debunked at
    All are ordinarily based on unspecified “data”, inequitable comparisons eg life anticipation, ancient in rank eg nickel mining; unrealistic driving patterns eg high speed footstep & no hold-ups etc.

    If you are apprehensive about crash saftey here is batteries are far safer than gas, see & watch the crash record. (high pressure hydraulic fluid is reasonably grave)

    you have to question why, It is like listening to smokers tiresome to justifiy their obsession.
    Hybrids are not the key to the worlds sustainable transport issues, but they are a small step away from top surprise fossil fuel dependancy
