Do you own a hybrid for convenience, or ethics?

Did you know that you can save fuel and run your car on water
I was just unusual as to how many public own a hybrid car primarily in view of the fact that it saves cash, and how many own a hybrid primarily for the environmental benefits?
Do you have additional reasons?
Personally, I take pleasure in the mileage, but my reasoning is primarily background-related.
