Did you know that you can save fuel and run your car on water
Income on board a sailboat is a excellent way to take pleasure in retirement. It’s not only a lot of fun it is a very measly way of income.
My better half and I quit in 1994, when I was 49. We bought our ship, May 1994, in the Apparent Lake area south of Houston. I sailed the boat to the UK Virgin Islands 6 months with hold and that is where it stayed for the next eight being.
My observations are aimed at public who need to retire to income on board a sailboat in the Caribbean. It was eight being of fun in the sun, and it was sure low-cost, less than $1,000 a month.
Why so low-cost? Excellent question. Birds of a feather?
Why so measly? They would do anything to Get out of persistent to work.
Clothes for wits…upon arising, I pulled on a couple of swim trunks, a T shirt…that’s it. I had two collared shirts, one or 2 pairs of set alight long pants ( for place of worship ), one pair of shoes…Teva sandals.
Wife’s wardrobe, same deal, swimming attire and take in up for inane ashore. A few cotton long dresses and…you guessed it Teva sandals.
In view of the fact that you use community transport, mini buses, you do not shop much…just groceries.
The only salesmen you encounter on the fill up are ones with lobsters for sale or trade. Their guests were paying $500 a night, we paid zero, and we had a better view.
Unsettled ride out, not an come forth, problem, your sails between islands were fleeting. From the VI to Trinidad, the highest passage was 95 miles…BVI to St Maarten. You are not in a rush if you cannot retire in view of the fact that of the state…reflect again. Income on board a sailboat in the Caribbean, is fun and measly. Take pleasure in.
