what will be the the source of energy of the future if and when oil becomes depleted?

Did you know that you can save fuel and run your car on water
bingo questioned:
in view of the fact that crude oil is the fuel that is very basically unfilled and cheaper than additional sources what wll our possibility cars and trucks run on in the possibility when oil becomes depleted .if you are adage hydrogen then isnt it very perilous and extremely volatile.

Oil is a renewable store.
Methane & alcohol look sweet gifted.
sunlight. in view of the fact that sunlight is the main source of energy and eventually it will solve energy tribulations.
It’s suitable that you question this question – I am now conception the book, “The End of Oil,” which addresses this very come forth. I’ve only just begun the book, but it looks like we have another 30 being before the oil give will start seeing a astute fall. The fall in the oil give will coincide with an boost in demand for energy, which spells Distress. Hopefully surrounded by 30 being time our brilliant engineers and scientists will have come up with a key to the volatile and perilous scenery of hydrogen…
BIO-FUEL may be! or may be the solar Energy.
it wont take place.
>>>> what will be the the source of energy of the possibility
>>>>> if and when oil becomes depleted?
We can’t even speculate. We have ample oil in the form of coal oil and shale to last us about a thousand being. (See first link below). Speculating about what fuel we will use in 1000 being time is pointless. Can you infer a self in the dark ages tiresome to speculate about what fuel we would be using and accurately predicting nuclear potential or even the jet engine? Impossible.
The planet of 3000AD, when the oil is finally depleted, will be even more alien to us than the bestow planet would be to King Richard. We can’t even start to speculate sensibly about what energy sources they force have exposed. Much less what they will use to fuel them.
>>>>> if you are adage hydrogen then isnt it very perilous
>>>> and extremely volatile.
Never mind volatile and perilous, hydrogen austerely isn’t an energy source, it’s an energy drain. We can get energy out of oil or coal by burning then. We have to place generous amounts of energy INTO fill up to generate hydrogen, and we get a small fraction of that back when we burn the hydrogen
Hydrogen may have a role as an energy Storage space space ordinary fro transport, but it can never, ever be an energy source except we develop fusion equipment.
>>>>> Methane & alcohol look sweet gifted.
Methane and alcohol are not energy sources, they are energy Storage space space, just like a battery. It takes about 2 litres of petroleum to yield a litre of ethanol or the equivalent amount of methane. Theys entail can not be used as an energy sources. See link 2 below.
Added to that here austerely isn’t ample land on Erath to grow the crops looked-for to allocate methane or alcohol to exchange more than a few percent of the planet’s oil use. (See link 3 below)
of course it would take place… and crude is a non-renewable energy source… It took billions being before it formed…well, up your sheath from hydrogen, of course the sun would be the best source,..
