2010 Honda Insight test drive opinion?
annonymous questioned:
Days gone by I test horde a 2010 Honda insight. I was very unexcited about the new top. The fastidious vehicle that I horde was a hybrid top with a semi-automatic transmission. Here were many equipment that I loved about it and others not so much.
The interior had a very open and nice top. The seats were very comfortable. I did not like the Gauge cluster even if. The speedometer was digital and would chat from life back lit blue to life back lit green based upon whether the engine were running on combustion or electricity. This I found very distracting. The sign would chat reasonably often. My additional gripe about the interior was the, what i like to call, “THE BLIND SPOT!”. If you have to merge over or even look backward you are faced with a reasonably generous blind spot. This makes life surrounded by of the very open interior feel very cramped.
My additional gripe with the car is the fuel state. The car is rated at 41 and 50 miles to the gallon. THis is absurd. a car that has the ability to run on an gripping motor or a fuel injected motor must be able to run at a minimum of 180 miles just on the battery packs before transferring over to gas. and the gas engine in this car must be able to get in my attitude at smallest amount 60 miles to the gallon.
This is my attitude of the new 2010 honda insight. They must has stayed with the original top of a completely gripping platform.
is it possible to turbo charge my car?
homez_1 questioned:

Is the Honda Insight worth it?
lovefromabove25 questioned:
I am compelling into account the hold of a Honda Insight hybrid. This car gets over 60 mpg and is perfectly fit for my lifestyle b/c right now I need a very small car and fuel efficient car. My only dilemma is the fact that the Insight’s battery pack will eventually go dead and it expenditure around 1500 dollars ( maybe more) to exchange. I would despise to have that kind of bill smack me in the face all in foul swoop. So I want to know if this car is value being paid even with the possible cost of battery substitution. Also are their any ways to maybe get around the battery problem? Any info anyone can give me would be very valued.
Will my ‘04 Honda Civic Hybrid stop running when the hybrid battery dies?
Mark questioned:
Will my ‘04 Honda Civic Hybrid stop running when the hybrid battery dies? Not the car battery, but the hybrid battery. Also what are the current substitution prices for cells and where can I get a excellent deal? I’m a apprentice.
I need to have a tire on my Honda CRV replaced, how much would the dealership that I got the car from charge?
atowneddie questioned:
I bought the vehicle strain new in May of 2007 from an genteel Honda dealership (Nalley Honda). My back, driver-side tire has a hole in it and I need to get it replaced. Is here any sort of warranty that I have that will allocate me to get the tire replaced for free/low-cost owing to the dealership that I bought the car from?
is there a way that the hybrid engine can changed?
mytek01 questioned:
The engine and battery pack that was in the car got hurt friends it is a long tale, but i am left with a ZC 1600cc sohc in the car and i need it out of it it just dont work. I was away and my wife gave it to a mad-chanic to flat and this is what i came back to see, it surges when idle the eps does not work the temp. gauge dont work a total lot of distress, thats why i need it to be altered and it doesnt make implication i try to get a hybrid engine the cost is too much, so making a swap is my only extent and with how cash stay currently i dont have a lot to emergency.
What if time: Can I put a Chevy Generation IV small block v8 in my 2003 Honda Accord EX coupe?
Dr KnowItAll questioned:
I’m an ex- 2006 Impala SS owner (dreadful accident, don’t question), and I was able with an Treaty. I miss my American muscle, as much as I be thankful for the gift. I like the stylishness of the Treaty (and the fuel efficiency, of course!), and I just happened to start thought, what if? Is this a corporal hopelessness? If it is to be sure possible, what force it cost? Would a mechanic reflect I’m idiotic? (You don’t have to pledge that part.) What alse may maybe I do to give my car some “oomph”?
Thankfulness for the dreams, and I’m smiling at some of the additional responses. I *did* say the Honda was a gift and this is a “what if” scenario. “ricers.” LMAO-If only you knew. I really austerely sought after to know if it may maybe be done, and if so, how.

Anyway to test MPG on Honda Civic Hybrid without asking dealer to fill tank?
Duarian questioned:
Is here any real way to tell what MPG I will be being paid before I buy the vehicle? I have read that some 05 civic hybrids get 30 mpg, and some aver they get 40-45, without having to question the dealer to fill the gas completely, handbook it around for 40 miles, and do back to the gas rank and see how much gas I have to place back in, is here any way I can reset the Trip gauge so that it will involuntarily calculate it for me as I test handbook the vehicle for say 30 or 40 miles? (I reflect the vehicle has this figure, I am just not sure how it facility)? Thankfulness again, this will be a huge help, Now being paid 13 mpg in my car and want to go to lecture, but it wont take place except I get a excellent reliable gas conserving vehicle
.
Normal Charge of 2006 honda civic hybrids Batteries?
Duarian questioned:
I recently bought an ‘06 Honda civic Hybrid, and like it so far, averaging 45 mpg in city, 47 on highway, but the thought of replacing the batteries is always in the back of my head due to how pricey it is. When driving it home from the dealer (30 miles all city), I had the payment nearly completely full, 1 of the tiny bars from full I judge, but recently in view of the fact that I handbook 80% highway to/from work, I use cruise hegemony leaving not much opportunity for it to payment itself, and it has been staying at around half, or one or two bars privileged than half, is this habitual? Or must I stop using cruise and give it time to payment itself back up to nearly full? Thankfulness!
Yes, that is the only problem, I got the remainder of the 3 year 36000 mile warranty, and here is only 6000 miles left on that warranty
, but my battery has been staying at 1/2-3/4 so I am guessing this is a excellent payment amount?
Why does my Civic do this?
2eighty8 questioned:
I handbook a ‘96 Civic LX and it has about a 40 litre tank. It’ll guzzle down the first half of the tank to go 300kms, but it will only take me a modest over 100kms on the second half (all averages in view of the fact that I handbook in the city and highway nearly at random).
Why does it do this? Can I and/or how can I get an even 600kms on one tank or even boost my fuel efficiency?
Thankfulness in advance.
Yes, the guy I bought it from did say all the maintenance was done before I took it home.

The catylitic converters malfunctioned on my 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid. This happen to you?
Magnus01 questioned:
My car has had the “try out engine” set alight on for about a week so i took it to the dealer and they said that both catylitic converters were gone. On a 2005 vehicle? Is this to no avail of? I have the qualified Honda warranty plus and bonus warranty so it is roofed but what the hell? is this something one-off for Honda. It sounds “suspect” to me and i want to know what all elses expierence is.
To give a bit of social rank, I am running full phony and have burned a tank or two of premium gas until I realized the mileage is made Of poorer quality (would this have something to do with it?)
What do you know about the ‘05 Honda Civic Reverb?
BeX questioned:
I’m in the market for a new car and just came across this model days gone by. Now, I have a ‘97 Civic EX and my marvel was to have an Infiniti G35 but when I looked into the fuel state I realized it just wasn’t value it. Is the Reverb a excellent model? Will It make any difference to my gas mileage if I install a high Flow K&N air filter in my 94 Honda Civic LX
scarab questioned:
I already get around 34 to 40 mpg on my civic. But in view of the fact that it is a 1.5L I really do not have too much potential. Also i want to boost my fuel efficiency better than 34/40 mpg. I know i am asking the best of both worlds, but I am looking for something that would make any difference. Be grateful you for your inputs and time.
