mangomuslei questioned:

I’m compelling into account integrating solar potential systems and gears into an eco-development here in Costa Rica. I have some questions in order to fiscal proclamation for these systems:

I cant set up if we need a “grid-tie” logic or an “off-grid” logic. I judge we need parts from both, or a “hybrid” logic. I want to offer solar potential as a standalone logic with a generous battery endorsement that utilizes the solar potential until the batteries are exhausted. When here is no potential left from the batteries, it would involuntarily batter to community potential company, only as a endorsement. It is unpromising that the community regime-proscribed potential company would come forth credits for “promotion potential back to the grid”, so a “grid-tie” logic as shown on your post would not work. The energy from the solar panels would have to send into a generous battery bank, not back to the grid. It is also uncommon from an “off-grid logic” in that, if depleted, the logic would need to involuntarily batter to community potential source.

This solar potential logic would need “pure sine wave” inverters – capable of supplying energy to any ordinary apparatus as well as a sensitive computerization hegemony logic with touchscreens in the home. I judge the Magnum MS4448 (http://www.wholesalesolar.com/harvest.folder/inverter-folder/Magnum_MS4448.html) fits the bill, but I’m not sure.

Finally, I want to link 7 of these eco-home solar potential systems collectively in order to capitalize on potential sharing for a more reliable and robust logic – especially in view of the fact that it is liable that at smallest amount 1-2 homes would not be full (they’re trip properties) at any agreed time. I judge that by burying Romex electrical lines between the homes and between each homes’ bank of batteries would do this… assess? Then, just one of these systems would be associated to the potential company to batter over once all batteries are drained – in view of the fact that the payment would be evenly release across all homes…. assess?

I would use locally-bought nautical-grade batteries for storing charges in each eco-dome. I’m not sure how many batteries or what type. I would want each 2,000 sq.ft. eco-home to be as self-sustaining as possible on solar potential. High and mighty a maximum potential draw of 500KWhs per home per month, what parts do I need? (I’m looking at the website: www.wholsesalesolar.com for parts to import)

Also, is here a better way of doing this, or do any of these dreams seem unfeasable?

Thankfulness

Iffy questioned:

I am a huge green energy aficionado, and I’ve been looking at innumerable huge name brands and wasn’t able to find what I’m looking for, so I stanch to question my you guys, if you can tell me, if what I’m looking for exists and makes implication.

I’m looking for an inverter, that’s a “hybrid inverter”, so it can take potential from the grid, like a grid-tied inverter, and also work as an off-grid inverter. So in the end it would be an inverter that can join my PV array to my load, and also to the grid.

If for some wits I don’t have potential from the grid for a few hours, I can subdue run my essential load, from the potential stored in batteries (battery bank).

Most inverters that I looked at, are only grid-tied, (can not join to batteries), or off-grid (can not join to grid), That’s why I said, I need a “hybrid inverter”. That can do both jobs with one apparatus.

Be grateful you and I’ll be very thankful for any help and guidance.

Do most people who try to be “green” only do it up to the point until it’s an inconvenience or too costly?

Magnus questioned:

I have no problem with public doing that. That’s your extent. That’s why a free market is splendid. I for For myself only do a few equipment, not in view of the fact that I judge in the yield, but in view of the fact that it saves cash. But do most “green” public preach that it’s what we must do to save the planet only do it to a top? If they were really believers, wouldn’t they hold off on that new 52″ plasma tv as it uses more energy than a ordinary projection or lcd tv? Shouldn’t they get rid of that gripping can starter or battery-operated toothbrush? Shouldn’t they bed in energy efficient windows and doors? And when they do, how do they dispose of the ancient one’s without polluting the background more? And shouldn’t they not handbook a car at all in view of the fact that even a hybrid subdue pollutes? Why not hold off export that Prius and invest in a car with solar panels? If they are so concerned, why not lead by model as a substitution for of telltale me what I need to do while they do the bare minimum and parade around as if they’re so Upper-class?
Nickel, while I don’t agree with you, I be thankful for your partaking. I like that a name from Europe may maybe place their attitude. I reflect the EU high and mighty that the run of the mill inhabitant doesn’t know isn’t a honest thought. Here are more than ample sources to find out a valid argument for any side of this argument. It’s just a matter of deciding which makes more implication when collective. I’ve heard just about each argument, and I judge that while the earth is warming, it is not caused by humans. As for relying on politicians to make all the decisions, that’s perilous, which is why here are some unfair laws a propos the background in Europe. Politicians are in the game of politics, so they shouldn’t be trusted to always do what they “judge” is right. As for my children, I judge their existence will be just as excellent as mine is, in view of the fact that I don’t judge the planet is in dire straits like many would have you judge.

I now handbook a ‘01 Volvo wagon and get 19/22 mpg. My husband and I are researching greener extent cars and are perplexed on which send to go. I want to reduce my gas consumption but we are also concerned about our creature trace; that dumping an older car for a new one may start bonus waste and are also concerned about long term biohazard equipment of uncommon fuel/batteries on the background.

BTW, we live in a rural mountainous are. Not a total lot of uncommon fuel choices.

Is it true that hybrids consume more energy to make?

jay o questioned:

I have heard that even if hybrids consume less gasoline, the do take greatly more energy to yield. If they take more energy to yield and that energy comes from coal, then that will also add to the total carbon dioxide released into the ambiance. A;so, what about he bonus parts like the battery, which take a lot of energy to yield and they ar heavy, so they use more energy when they are shipped from the top of prodction to where they are assembled in the car. Finally, what about he gripping motor which is also heavy and are bent from moderately generous amounts of copper, which is non renewable and uses a lot of energy to refine and ship to points of prodction. How come no one takes that into tab when touting the benifits of hybrids? I reflect public are stll fleeting sighted and ignorant when they look at our levels of carbondioxide emissions and our by and large level of consumption.

Shubby questioned:

I’m making a report on carbon emissions and I looked-for to know some appealing stats on America which force affect the amount of carbon emissions it has. As many of you know, America has the peak carbon emanation rate in the planet and, as such, here must be reasonably a few influencing factors. Some points I’m looking for are:
number of cars per Family tree tree
amount of food wear and tear
number of factories
average car fuel efficiency
etc.

Be grateful you! Any help is much valued!

with uncommon sources of gripping energy possible, we had a splendid non-polluting, low-cost vehicle for transportation that we may maybe just plug into an outlet to refuel. if all had solar panels on their roofs at home, we may maybe offset the energy expenditure of ‘refuelling’ this car and it would be a near exact energy logic. what happened? GM literally killed the gripping car and introduced the humvee to make more cash. incredible.
don’t these companies realize they may maybe make billions if they would just offer us another really plug-in gripping vehicle, let lonely at the very smallest amount a mass bent plug-in hybrid that can get 150mpg ???

Spazzy- McGee questioned:

I’m doing a project on US Energy Plot and it parallels Obama’s plot, how does he plot to implement his dreams?
He diplomacy to support the foundation of renewable energy sources like wind and solar and boost the America’s aging electrical grid to support possibility plug in hybrid vehicles.

How does he plot to implement? Best Pledge goes to the most significant and fussy pledge. Thankfulness.
“&”, the fact that only 1% of US energy is bent via wind and solar has not anything to do with possibility consumption or legality and if anything it earnings it is just an unused energy source.

You are probably right about it life a campaigning slogan… but that is all any politician gives the public. At smallest amount Barrack Obama has a greatly qualified personnel of experts disparate previous presidents and past presidential hopefuls.

And don’t you reflect natural gas is the energy source tiresome to be forced onto America? Have you seen all the commercials? Natural Gas is cool, but supervise over consumption of the ORIGINAL source of energy (the Sun) via wind, wave, geothermal, and solar earnings is possibility in my book.

Infer I am inane to 1 up our president brilliant and come up with a mode to implement our energy plot for For myself. LOL

Is this plot realistic?

I have diplomacy to build a wind to electricity unit. It involves established magnets (which I have already bought) and making coils for the magnets to pass over. It is veteran at 2kw per hour in 5mph winds. I want to get an inverter that is strong ample to support this and I plot to incorporate solar panels into the logic as well. I will start with just one solar Panel then buy a new one each 2 months till I run out of room to place them. I plot to also add a battery each time I add a solar Panel.
