nicodalimonte questioned:
What will take place if the battery of this bike soaked in rain?
How about if its battery roofed in ice/snow?
Or if I park my bike outside while temp is so hot (90-100f).
Will anything take place to this battery or bike?

Electric bicycle experiences?

I recently approved an gripping bicycle:

for my go back and into the planet to and from work. It’s about 13 miles each way and takes me about an hour on my fixed hybrid bike. Making this ride double a day can wear me out by the end of the week, above all in view of the fact that I often have to go hostile to a stiff headwind. Plus it’s gotten as hot as 108°F this summer all owing to my ride home.
In the end I’d like to cut down on the time and work it takes to make this trip, while subdue being paid exercise and minimizing my greenhouse gas emissions. I must be able to give a new lease of life the batteries at work, so that will prevent them from being paid discharged much more than midpoint. I did some investigate, and this fastidious bike seemed fine and is moderately very low-cost.
So I was wondering if anyone with some gripping bike experiences had any tips about gripping bikes and biking.
Yes I’m preparation on pedalling in effect the total send. The gripping motor is austerely to make the pedalling simpler and make the trip quicker.
Excellent tips 1×1, thankfulness.
Computerless hybrid bike design?
J K questioned:
I like the thought of gripping help bikes, but they’re really pricey, and they all contain computers, something I’d like to Get out of on a bicycle.
If you can stand a modest conception, I’d like dreams and suggestions for my top.
Start with a habitual bicycle. But exchange the string with a bar, and the outdoor gears with hub gears or perhaps a NuVinci CVT hub.
Then, add the batteries, and motor in the adjoin hub.
To minimize user partaking and simplify the top, place a jump loaded torque feeler midpoint along the handbook bar. (Two thick disks with curved faces that fit collectively. This way if the load is stuck-up than the partaking, one disk can ride up on the humps of the additional one, forcing hostile to the jump)
That way, the torque feeler would enlarge and turn on the hub motor. The additional the feeler opens, the more electricity drives the motor.
From the users top of view, they would be provided with two adjusters and two handles. The right adjuster would austerely chat the gears or CVT ratio, and the right soubriquet would engage a rear friction brake. The left adjuster would go the jump on the torque feeler so that the motor sensitivity decreases. (In Off spot, it would compress the jump up hostile to the disk, preventing any movement and therefor maintenance the motor off, while in High spot it would go the jump away from the disk, letting the motor trigger at the slightest resistance.) The left soubriquet would turn the hub motor in to a regenerative brake, but only if the torque feeler is clogged.
This also earnings that by setting the Torque Feeler to off, they may maybe feather the brake and at a snail's pace give a new lease of life the battery.
I’m just before a live audience with the thought, and I’m not professionally versed in this kind of matter, so any view or dreams would be valued.

I am so confused. Or does it run on some kind of battery pack?? Also, delight clarify the difference between a hybrid, comfort, and a fitness bike> Thankfulness
ok i ride at 90-102 rpms all the time now just thinking a cars engine fuel efficiency gose down after 60mph is?
Davd C questioned:
here a rpm on a bike where your body is no longer efficiency any more
ok i know cars top efficiency for fuel use is 55 mph but what is the sweat speed or mph for a bicycle?
Davd C questioned:
i ride 10-15 mph at about 70 to 80 rpms but is that the most efficiency speed to do for like a 50-100 miles trip
