hybrid battery

brian questioned:

Why doesn’t the Regime fund a contest like the $10 million “Ansari X Prize”, which was a contest that awarded to the first privately-funded assemble which launches a pilot and two passengers (or the equivalent in ballast) into interval, and then repeats the feat surrounded by two weeks?

They can award $10 million to the first privately-funded assemble which can start a gas engine that is able to get 250 miles to the gallon. Bring collectively this with batteries like the Hybrid cars and the rest is description.

If we can send a rocket to mars and land two apparatus that continue subdue to roll around and send us cinema I reflect we can start an engine that is able to get 250 miles to the gallon what do you reflect?

What’s more vital, less gas addiction and affect care or life the first public to waste 45 billion dollars to be the 1st to Pluto?

Wooderson questioned:

Anyone who public who have their own airplanes, must handbook hybrid or biodiesel cars.

Airplanes are the most terrible polluters of all transportation. Therefore, public who have confidential airplanes must compensate for that by driving only green ground vehicles.

Anyone who supports global warming reduction efforts hostile to this?
Deep Sky — you’re gone the top. I be with you what you are adage. But, the best way to get them to shut up about global warming is to hit them where it hurts. Make these super-rich, like Laurie David, Sheryl Crow and Al Gore really go green. Don’t allocate them “carbon credits.” That’s bullsh!t. Make them really chat their carbon way to the level of the average self. They are the largest polluters, and a progressive logic would place the largest burdens on them, right? That’s the liberal line, isn’t it? Let’s do it!

Do I still have plenty of time to get an 8-cylinder sports car and get a good deal on it?

sob_125 questioned:

Unfortunately, it’s looking like SUVs and sports cars and additional vehicles with guzzle gas are inane to stop life made and no one’s gonna buy them any longer. I would much very have an 8-cylinder like a Camaro Z28 or a Firebird TransAM. All else force be switching to tiny, unsafe, wimpy Hybrid cars that can’t take a hit in a collison and take all day to go from 0 to 60.
I wouldn’t wanna be spellbound dead in one of those degrading, hideous vehicles that I find to be a joke. I would much have that 300+ HP from a Firebird or a Camaro. They look more cool, are much closer, and are a modest safer in case of an accident.

I hope the decreased sales will mean lower prices, not the additional way around.

hybrid cars

dragonchips questioned:

With Nancy Pelosi visiting Yahoo answers, we heard of the stanchness to hybrids cars, a greener tomorrow, and the enviromental riddle. My question is to all of you, while hybrid cars are a excellent starting top, are they a real key? While they do recieve privileged gas mileage, must we be looking away from gasoline completely for a new key to a mobile potential source.

The wits why I question this is in view of the fact that I always hear what a splendid job we are doing by switching over, and yet our addiction on assets full from hostile territories, is each day rising. Are hybrids just an defense to Get out of the real come forth? Or can they be fit into a plot to wean ourselves away from our traditional sources.

I’d like to hear any view on the matter, or anything that force even be a viable uncommon key. Thankfulness!

johndoe3214 questioned:

The California administration has been wrestling with signing a fiscal proclamation for months now. They had to any cut must looked-for programs or bring to somebody's attention taxes. In view of the fact that the price of gas is draining the pocketbooks of many Californians it was stanch that those smallest amount affected by a gas tax hike would be hybrid car owners. So effectual January 1, 2008 all owners of hybrids will be taxed an bonus tear up a gallon. Really the way it will work is that when you buy gas at the pump the tear up per gallon will be included in the price. When you file your state income tax for 2008 in 2009 you will be agreed a credit for all the superfluous gas tax you paid in 2008 (with genteel documentation) apart from for those who have a hybrid registered in their name.
I would like your attitude on this bill SB98556. Be grateful you

Will the ultracapacitor mean increased fuel efficiency in america?

fuel efficiency

jadeotronic j questioned:

hybrids are costly, and they use batteries.

new ultracapacitors can rapidly store payment…energy and relief it….such systems may maybe be a lot more efficient when compiled with a battery…one logic in the news boasted a car with no use of fuel but the quick charging of an ultracapacitor.

If America Really wants to be free of all co2 emissions (which I don’t reflect causes global warming btw)….and also not be disadvantaged on oil..

Then what we would do is…..

build a huge nexus of nuclear reactors…that payment ‘modules’. from all the cars with this logic…which are in the end ultracapacitors compiled with a battery.

When you need a payment up…(an ultracapacitor can be exciting positively quick). you go to a ‘gas rank’ which has exciting up modules, and which you exchange. Battery gets you to places if you run out of payment in your ultracapacitor.

no need for fuel in cars….then gas is used for such equipment as heating, etc.

Vauxhall factories may maybe accurate if bail-out discussion with the Regime do not bear fruit, the head of General Motors Europe has told Sky News.

Vauxhall employs 3,300 personnel at the two factories, while hundreds of additional jobs depend on the fate of its 500 UK dealerships.

With the state as it is, is the car industry really inane to carry on this crisis? Will continuous bail outs help in the long term or is the possibility of car production in the UK success a sad end?
