somber_pieces questioned:

Or are you gonna hold out as long as you can, and keep driving a pure gasoline or deisel vehicle.

The new hybrids are a fresh business, but they subdue got lousey acceleration. And if you convert to Biodeisel, well, how long will that last? In some parts of the public public are being paid sweet ruthless in view of the fact that its being paid harder to find waste cooking oil to make the material. I skepticism we’ll be driving all gripping cars, in view of the fact that here isn’t ample infrastructure to support life sized slot cars. But wouldn’t it be cool to have gripping hot rods?
***uhmmm – yes I did test handbook the Prius. Its got splendid acceleration, only if you have a very set alight load. I like to see how a car does its business with a reasonably full load, so I go with friends to try out out new cars when they come out. Maybe when I got to handbook it, the demo had some real wear and tear on it. I’m sorry I wasn’t impressed. If they chopped it down and made a two seater, I force deliberate it more sincerely.
* Even my sisters ancient (original) CRX Honda gets 55-65 mpg, its ancient but her husband likes to toy with it to make it run a modest better, than average.

Why haven’t American auto-makers come up with more hybrid cars or small SUV’s, like the Ford Escape?

younglieutenant questioned:

Why does it take the Japanese to develop more than 4-5 models of hybrids, before U.S. automakers even attempt to pick a model to place a hybrid engine into? Are the U.S. automakers tiresome to “Escape” (pun projected) from this newest actuality?

Do you laugh at PC addicts who grossly overpay for hybrid cars so they can feel holier than thou?

Satisfaction Jackson questioned:

I do. Not too long ago here was some push coverage of hybrid owners having a hissy fit in view of the fact that they paid a huge premium for their Politically Assess Mobiles and they weren’t being paid somewhere near the advertised mileage. I laughed my arse off at them.

geomoto questioned:

California allows public with ample cash to by new Hybrid cars and use the affect lane for commuting. How can the most liberal state in the union do this to the poor. California now supports a two rank traveler logic, the rich whom get to use the traveler lane with only one occupent in the car and the poor whom do not.
