airforcewolf16 questioned:

For model, if I do my own maintenance, I will have no service records. Will this void my warranty or make me powerless to sell my car in the possibility?

  1. Amber says:

It will probably void the warranty but won’t make it unsellable.

Depends on the service you do and the narrow you have with the dealer.

Some dealers allocate you to chat your oil and filters and illumination, the wits they want to do it themselves is to make sure that its done right and on time. Ordinarily the pricier the car, the more loath they are to have a dishonest tree mechanic do the work.

Anything privileged than that i.e. alternator, telephone logic installation, unreliable the tires etc. would void the exact warranty on the vehicle.

Just confirmation all you do, and save total admission money for any oil, parts etc. that you buy, keep footstep of the mileage intervals and you must be OK.
Any service that you are powerless to go will have to be done and recorded by the garage and or mechanic that performs it.

Depends on what you do. General maintenance on a car, like oil changes, filter replacements, etc. can be done by you. Some of the privileged ends material (terrible clutch, foremost engine issues) must be done by a “qualified” mechanic. Not automatically the dealership, but a mechanic that is qualified to work on your model vehicle.

Now Huyndai and Kia have uncommon rules completely. They want you to bring your car to the dealership only, and you MUST do the scheduled maintenance or you give up the warranty.

Most additional brands, especialy American ones, don’t hold you to the maintenance schedule. If you miss the 30k health check they won’t void your warranty.

That’s all I know! Excellent luck to you!

  5. In the Kitchen says:

No….the fine print in the warranty will rule out you being paid any satisfactory remedy must you have a problem.

Keep excellent records just for the heck of it, even if.

just save all total admission money
