I have a volkswagen beetle TDI (diesel) and i get about 42mpg which is awesome!!! and since mine is a turbo it has alot of power to it.
if you are lookin for something with better mpg’s then, i’d say it is worth buying.
I don’t think it’s worth buying Lancer when you know that the new Lancer is coming shortly.
Though current Lancer is a good car overall, it fails on key points like BHP (which you will notice immediately if you would have driven… let’s say Verna), interior quality is well below par… further looks also feel dated… further it’s resale is very poor, so I would rather suggest Chevrolet Optra (Diesel) or just opt for Skoda Octavia (though dated) but it’s a solid machine to buy!!!
