Not a whole lot, the concept(s) are mostly political posturing and feel-good symbolism.. If it puts a restriction on personal freedom, free market economics, or national energy policy, it is likely to be on the approved list by the "Greens". any serious scientific analysis of each "green" restriction yields very dubious effects on the overall environment. An across the board 10% reduction in global hydrocarbon fuel use (to reduce that horrid .35 part per billion Co2 content) would throw the worlds economy(s) into total chaos, mass starvation and political unrest would follow. Do the "greens" tell you that part?
