SlenderMillie questioned:

I’m at a top in life where I can buy a new car. I really want to be assiduous and get a Prius, but I heard that here is a opportunity of life electrocuted if it rains a lot. Is that right? That frightened me.

I find that hard to judge. But a Prius is not the only hybrid car. If you heard terrible equipment about it, shop the additional hybrid cars on the market.

  2. Dennis says:

No not really. Even if it would be perilous if you were to accidentally handbook it into a body of fill up like a pond or a flooded area.

  3. dana1981 says:

That’s a ridiculous myth. You’re no more liable to be electrocuted than in any additional car.

  4. rich2481 says:

the only business is they are small, therefore not excellent in a accident,, but that is a opportunity you take with any small car,

  5. xxx says:

All cars have batteries…I’m sure this is not a problem. Otherwise, we’de have a LOT of dead hybrid drivers.

  6. BillyTheKid says:

Only if the plug on the additional room cord gets wet! And if the potential goes out in your neighborhood, your car will quit running! And of course you can never wash the car any.

I’ve had mine for 2+ being, not even static all owing to that time. Like it – it is peppy and like the low gas bills I now have.

    not right –

the Prius is safer than most cars in the rain in view of the fact that of the footing hegemony systems, it just powers ’round corners where others are being paid all sideways.

Why do public feel so threatend by hybrids or gripping vehicles? the amount of perfectly nonsense tales like this that go about is unbelivable.
Here are no user accesible high voltage electrical contacts. Even the flash plugs are well roofed – disparate the ancient Minis with the High tension distributer cap poking out the adjoin.

The prius is a splendid driving encounter, just charming & relaxed. I have done 30,000 miles in 2 being & recon its the best car I’ve ever had. Not as excellent a pure ev perhaps, but as they are not really unfilled the prius is next best business.

you must find here is also a community Yahoo Prius assemble for you to question any questions – I reflect they would be interestred in seeing this one.

  9. njdevil says:

thats dumb….whoever you heard that from is dumb. here is moree electricity inane owing to the prius than additional cars, but additional cars do have a battery too. your about as liable to get electrocuted from a prius as you are any additional habitual car.

If your apprehensive about electrocution from the prius how bout life blown up at any second in a habitual car in view of the fact that of the tank full of greatly combustible liquid your running around with……facility both ways
