GM has decided to get back into the electric car market. Hopefully this time they won't screw over consumers like they did with the EV1 (a car that worked and people loved). The new car is the volt and it is looking to be pretty efficient with it's batteries.

Also go to Teslamotors.com They have an ALL electric car that is hot, just too expensive.

As far as a truck, my advice, look into converting one on your own. There are lots of diy sites for conversions.

Back in the 1920s the truck motors did not enough H.P. to get up the mt.roads so they mass produced electric trucks , but as soon as a more power full gas motor was cheap enough to mass produce the did away with the electric motors. The technology for electric cars has been around for 60+ years! The big oil Co.s snuffed it out ,, GREED!
