Back in the 1920s the car motors did not ample H.P. to get up the mt.roads so they mass bent gripping trucks , but as soon as a more potential full gas motor was low-cost ample to mass yield the did away with the gripping motors. The equipment for gripping cars has been around for 60+ being! The huge oil Co.s snuffed it out ,, GREED!
GM has stanch to get back into the gripping car market. Hopefully this time they won’t screw over customers like they did with the EV1 (a car that worked and public loved). The new car is the volt and it is looking to be sweet efficient with it’s batteries.
Also go to Teslamotors.com They have an ALL gripping car that is hot, just too pricey.
